External Wall Insulation
Designed for solid brick properties. Wrap your home exterior in a high-grade thermal barrier and render coat.
Service Overview
Solid-brick properties built before 1920 do not have cavities and lose heat twice as fast as modern homes. External Wall Insulation (EWI) wraps the exterior structure of your home in a continuous blanket of insulation. We fix high-density expanded polystyrene or mineral wool slabs directly to the external walls, apply a reinforced fiberglass mesh layer, and finish with a decorative, weather-resistant silicone render. EWI not only dramatically increases heat retention but also completely updates the exterior aesthetic of older homes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does external wall insulation require planning permission?
If the material changes the visual appearance of the property or if you live in a conservation area, you will need to notify the local council. We assist with all approvals.
Is external insulation weather-dependent?
Yes. The rendering and plastering phases require dry weather and temperatures above 5°C for proper curing.
